Hi there This listing is for (one) Universal Tool Steel Starter cone! It can be used on all coins with a center hole from 1/4” to 5/8” to begin the folding process! It is small so it can also be used with ring sizing machines that have a low clearance and presses! This tool will also help protect your other folding tools like Delrin balls because the first fold is the hardest on those types of tools! TO USE THIS TOOL: First begin with a coin that has a center punched hole and you will need to debur the hole in the coin, it is recommended you use a deburring tool, they can be purchased online too. It very important to debur it will protect all your tools and help keep your coin from splitting. Next press the starter cone down just before the inside detail makes contact with the starter cone. Be careful and do not press too far or the inside of the coin or top of smaller dies can be damaged. So go slow at first until you get the hang of it and start with a common coin nothing expensive if its your first time using the new tool! It is also recommended that you anneal you coins before you begin and often. This will keep the coin in a more workable state prolonging the life of all your tools and preventing splits in the coin!
